I always feel very proud of being the main artist on Superfogeys: Origins and a little privileged, because I get to have some of my stuff inked by the super talented Brock Heasley! The current page of Harvey and Doctor Rocket’s origin was penciled by myself and inked by Brock who brings a ton of extra depth and precision to my art. This must be what John Byrne feels like when Terry Austin would ink X-men or Jim Lee and Scott Williams. Good sequential art is a combination of many things including color and story but the tandem of pencils and inks is paramount. As we see here a good artist can look great with the help of a great inker! Head over to Th3rdworld to see the full color, fully inked version!
I apologize for the lack of updates on Bullfinch this week, though two giant helpings of SFO should help. BF will be back on Friday, then we’ve got two more Superfogeys:Origins next week. Many thanks to my guest artist this week for his wonderful Bullfinch:Origins strip. Nice on Mitchell!
Bullfinch mentioned on Newsarama!! (or superfogeys, whatever)
May 6th, 2009 | by TLToday on the giant comics based website Newsarama is none other than Brock Heasley and his comic Superfogeys! Head on over and check out his interview as well as the very kind mention of yours truly and our little up and coming web-comic Bullfinch!
I am officially running in this year’s AIDSwalk 10k at beaver lake nature center (yes that’s a real place), here in central New York. I’m not good at raising money (clearly), but I can cut and paste things into websites! I walked last year with the family but this is my first year on the fund-raising side. If anyone is interested just click on this link below.

Tuesday is brand new Superfogeys Origins day over at Th3rdworld, head on over and check it out. For anyone who doesn’t know about KC’s recent squirrel transformation, he was originally turned into a squirrel by Lance’s Uni-magic in this strip. It was a punishment for a horse related comment which is a gigantic insult in the world of Unicorns.
