Oscar and 42: Still trapped in time; the hidden fortress

We’ve still got a couple of comics left dealing with Oscar and 42 trapped in the past.  I’ve got a good idea of how to untrap them but It’s going to take some set up work.  For the record I did enjoy drawing the interior of the hidden fortress.  Who, if anyone, resides here? Why is there a large statue in the middle of the entrance chamber? We’ll find out soon enough and some new characters will be introduced as well.

Soon we’ll get back to the present and start dealing with that Xenomorphic scumbag sales guy Keltrax!

I will be in Baltimore at the end of the month for comic-con showing with the mega-talented Dawn Griffin of Zorphbert and Fred fame!  I have already been contacted for sketches and I still have slots left if anyone wants to put in a pre-order on color or black and white sketches.  I had a great time last year hanging out with Th3rdworld and the Stuff of Legend Crew and I hope to have a repeat this year.  Even if you don’t want a sketch feel free to stop by and say hi if you’re in the area.  I may have a super sized announcement later this week regarding a meatspace, portable, three dimensional Bullfinch offering debuting at the con as well.  I’ll keep you posted!

Oscar and 42: Trapped in time!

This is it!  Bullfinch is back with new colors and story-lines.  We’re picking up where we left off back in May with the time travel story which left Oscar the cat and Squirrel Designate 42 stuck back in 1462.  They had chased down KC and Captain Stubing who had used the time platform to escape Oscar’s murderous clutches.   Unfortunately the time platform was set for a blind jump and KC and Stubing wound up in 1462 in the central European country of Wallachia and the realm of Vlad the Impaler.  Read the whole story starting here in our archives.

For those who don’t know Bullfinch is the ongoing story of our central character KC Raken and his new job in the town of Bullfinch Vermont.  Employed by a growing feed company KC discovers that the state of Vermont is the safe haven for all magical and mystical creatures throughout existence.  Modern society considers them myths and legends but the truth is they live in relative peace in the small state of Vermont.

So far KC has experienced quite a bit in his short time in Vermont.  His ordinary house cat began speaking and eventually acquiring an army of super intelligent squirrels and an undying thirst for power and blood.  He’s worked with Unicorns, Yeti’s and a strange Bumpa Lumpa.  He’s tangled with Dragons, Wyverns, and even an Alien life form.  A Kraken who wants his job and a strange trip into the past where he was implanted with magic powers.

Now his company has decided to become the protectors of all they hold dear and battle the rising evil forces which threaten all of magic-dom.  This is Bullfinch.
