Bullfinch.

Hello everyone!

Yes, I freely admit to being a big jackass and not returning to Bullfinch in a timely fashion.  I’m certainly not making any excuses, and Bullfinch will return at some point this summer.  In the meantime I’m making a huge effort to try to blog or post some kind of artwork on a daily, or mostly daily, basis.  For example the piece above I painted in Photoshop recently on my new kickass computer with my tablet.  It’s just a first effort so I realize it’s a bit rough, It’s a halfling cleric battling some zombies in cavalier fashion.

In the last couple of months I’ve spent most of the time focusing on my Soviet Sam story over at Superfogeys with Brock Heasley.  The last installment will go up on Tuesday of this week, make sure you check it out and also Brock’s regular superfogeys story which is really fantastic.  My association with Brock as the regular artist on Superfogeys: Origins finishes up after a short upcoming story.  It’s a little sad because it’s such an awesome world to play in, but the time crunch was difficult and took it’s toll on me and my work on Bullfinch.

The bottom line is that I am making an effort to create more time to get back to the  magical world of Vermont and all of the fun characters I’ve created here over the last few years.  I know I’m a jerk-ass and my scheduling is worse than a hobo on crack, but Bullfinch is my home and I’ll get back to crafting the adventures of KC and Captain Stubing.  The new comics are underway and I’ll get a bit of a buffer and get back on schedule very soon.  Until then I can at least show sketches and all of the other little art projects I do here on my site and talk about how annoying the NBA is and why we shouldn’t ever watch it ever again.
