The new Hulk movie that came out this past summer with Ed Norton finally makes it’s way to DVD this week. It supposedly includes a new alternate beginning that takes place in the arctic with Bruce trying to commit suicide to end the Hulk. The Hulk prevents this of course by taking control of the body and smashing the nearby glacier. The big Easter egg for comic book fans is a glimpse of Captain America’s shield hidden in an ice shelf which is now hurtling towards the viewer. The problem is these things are so small and indecipherable on screen until you pause every frame and search all of the pixels. The glimpse in the Iron Man movie was equally tiny. I realize that is the point, so hardcore fans will pore over every video frame and post their results online and get themselves into a tizzy on how awesome it is, but can we just get some news on a real movie already? Are they really going to do a Thor movie next? Thor?!
So far the guys at Marvel films have done a bang-up job so I trust they’re judgement but Thor is a tough one to pull off. Cap should be easy, WWII, some Bourne like fight scenes and some hypothermia in the middle. BAM. Hey, whatever, make mine Marvel.
ed. note: Most worming pastes are given orally these days, unfortunately for Lance Gran still rolls old school. Please check with your veterinarian before administering to family and friends.
